While Afghanistan is based in Dubai, all their Group B matches will be held in Abu Dhabi, a two-hour journey away. He has openly questioned the scheduling, expressing concerns about the additional strain that this travel imposes on his team, particularly in the heat of the UAE summer. At the mandatory captain's press conference, Rashid Khan highlighted the difficulties of traveling for each match. “To play in Abu Dhabi and stay here in Dubai for all three games... it’s different. But once you enter the ground, you forget everything else,” said Rashid Khan, who is the world’s leading T20I wicket-taker with 170 wickets.
